Join us for community training.

40 Hour Domestic Violence Certification

This training takes place on weekends and evenings and helps participants understand the nuances of domestic violence. Offered three times per year. All volunteers must become certified before working with our agency. Next training TBD.

Human Trafficking 101

This is an introductory training in Human Trafficking. Participants will learn how to identify trafficked individuals, and ways in which they can access resources to get help.

40 Hour Human Trafficking Training

This training provides individuals with an in-depth perspective into Human Trafficking. All volunteers working directly with our trafficking survivors will need to become certified through this course.

Overview of Healthy and Abusive Relationships

This presentation serves as an introduction to the dynamics of healthy and abusive relationships.

This presentation help the greater community understand the breadth of YWCA MC’s services.

Support Groups

YWCA MC facilitates weekly support groups for survivors of domestic violence. Facilitated by a therapist, these confidential groups take place every week. Please call as registration is required and there is no fee to attend.

Batterers Intervention

YWCA MC licensed therapists facilitate this 8 week program for those who have caused harm. The costs will be discussed during registration and registration is required. For more information on the Batterers Intervention program, call our administrative office at +1-831-422-8602. Se Habla Espanol.
