YWCA-MC Event  Information

YWCA-MC Events have changed and evolved due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  We have altered our events with health and safety in mind.  We have taken to using virtual events to continue our progress eliminating racism and empowering women.  If you have questions as to how you can become involved in virtual events, please contact mail@ywcamc.org.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

DV RibbonOctober 1st DVCC annual Conference.  Virual speaker event with Ashely Bendiksen. 12:30-1:30pm. Open to the public. More information can be found on the DVCC website. Registration for the second and third event in the series is now available on Eventbrite.

October 8th  DVCC Annual Conference.  Virtual round table discussion with DV Ourtreach and Prevention 12:00-1:30pm. open to the public. More information can be found on the DVCC website. Registration for the second and third event in the series is now available on Eventbrite.

October 15th DVCC Annual Conference virtual presentation DV Housing Frist Model 12:00-1:30pm open to the public. More information can be found on the DVCC website. Registration for the second and third event in the series is now available on Eventbrite.

October 18th to 24th Week Without Violence virtual week of action in collaboration with YWCA USA.  Times and events will be added as they are scheduled.

October 23rd  Walk a Mile in Their Shoes is a socially distant event organized by YWCA-MC specific to YWCA-MC Staff.  Updates will be posted via social media.

October 30th Program Launch YWCA MC’s new Domestic Violence Housing Program.  Time to be Announced
