Every day, women in the Monterey Community find themselves in crisis with nowhere to turn. That's where YWCA-MC comes in. We work hands-on with these women, providing services like Domestic Violence emergency shelter, 24/crisis line, mental health services and food to help them get back on their feet. But we need your help to continue this critical work. Our donation website is safe, secure, and easy to use. We ask that you consider making a contribution today, no matter how small. Online Giving
You can use our online donation form to give in a number of ways in addition to the standard one-time credit card gift.

Donor Advised Funds
A Donor Advised Fund allow you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants from the fund over time. Contact our offices to set this up.

Give In Kind
Donate supplies, they must be new with tags due to Covid, to our shelter clients or choose to donate grocery gift cards for our food pantry.

Recurring Gifts
Setting up recurring donations on a monthly basis helps guarantee that those we serve receive the appropriate care and support every day. It allows you to easily spread your support throughout the year and provide a steady and reliable stream of income to us. You can donate monthly by selecting “automatically repeat the gift every month” at out Donate page.

Honor/Memorial Gifts
Celebrate an important milestone, such as a birthday or anniversary, or remember a loved one through an honorary or memorial gift to YWCA Monterey County Encourage friends, family and colleagues to invest in the future of women and girls in lieu of materials gifts. Select “this is an honor or memorial gift” and follow the instructions that appear at our Donate page.

Stock Giving
A gift of appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual funds is an excellent way to support YWCA Monterey County. Your donation will still be eligible for a tax deduction, and it may allow you to avoid or reduce capital gains taxes. For more information on potential tax advantages, please consult with your financial advisor.
Gifts of securities can easily be made by asking your broker to transfer the stock to YWCA Monterey County account. Please have your broker contact our offices to set up.
